Itinerary

Day 1, Nov 4th Arrive in Kathmandu, airport pick up and transfer to hotel. Overnight in hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2, Nov 5th  Spend the day fitting your boats, getting them to your liking and getting ready for our multi day trip journey! In the afternoon approximately 5 to 6 PM we will hold our pre-departure meeting.

Day 3, Nov 6th Paddle Balephi river taking stunning views off Everest on the clear day on the way to to river Balephi river is crystal clear water with tight lovely boulder We will paddle this lovely jewel off a river down in to sun Koshi and take out and drive with private bus to Kathmandu s approximately 2 and half hrs. Stay night at hotel relax have nice hot shower.

Day 4, Nov 7th Have breakfast and then walk to the bus stop (approximately 5 minutes) and then pack the bus ready for the first river trip of your holiday in Nepal. Drive approximately 2 hours with private bus to the put in of the Trishuli River.

The Trishuli River starts up on the Tibetan plateau near the famous Langtang region. Legend has it that the god Shiva high up in the Himalaya at Gosainkunda drove his trident into the ground and created three springs, the source of the river and hence the name Trishuli.

The river is big volume and famous in Nepal for its kayaking and rafting and there are a variety of different sections depending on the ability of the group. One day to five day trips you can journey downstream through rapids such as ‘Upset’, ‘Surprise’ and ‘Ladies Delight’ just to name a few.

There is also time to enjoy the scenery and wave to the villagers on the calmer sections. Big sandy beaches provide ideal spots to camp.

The volume in April is medium.  A fantastic river to warm up on with mostly class 2-3 plus bigger volume whitewater.

One night two days Trishuli River journey. A great warm up paddle on this river with fun bouncy whitewater. Camp on riverside beach.

 

Day 5, Nov 8th Paddle the Trishuli River in the morning and take out at Fishling or Kurientar. Have lunch and pack up the bus and drive overnight to the Karnali River put in point approximately 11 hours.

 

Rising from the famous holy Mt. Kailash in Tibet the Karnali River is Nepal’s Wild West River. It is the longest and largest river in Nepal. It carves through the Himalayan landscape into many beautiful gorges and canyons as it flows down into the forests of west Nepal. Travel through some of the most pristine jungle in Nepal filled with an abundance of wildlife. You may see tigers, deer, monkey and many species of birds. The river is very popular for fishing with many different species. The area is relatively underpopulated and has a real wilderness feel. Rapids such as ‘Rattle and Roll’, ‘Inversion’, ‘Juicer Shake’, ‘Freight Train’ and many more will provide plenty of excitement. Camping on sandy beaches and the remote feel of the Karnali River will give a true expedition experience.

Day 6, Nov 9th Arrive at Karnali River put in point and have lunch pack our rafts and get organized for multi day river expedition. Paddle down a few kilometers and camp.

 Day 6-13, Nov 9th-16th Raft/Kayak Karnali River. Day 13 afternoon take out have lunch and drive back to Kathmandu which is approximately 14 hours drive on our private night bus.

 

Day 14th Nov 17th Arrive in Pokhara and relax or paddle upper seti in afternoon plus get ready for Marshyangdi night stay in Pokhara

 

Day 15, Nov 18th Arrive in Bhule Bhule and set up camp for the night and have group talk come up with plan for next todays paddling.

Draining off the Northern slopes of the Annapurna Mountains, this “raging river” is steep, technical and not to be underestimated! This spectacular whitewater adventure shares some of the most exciting rapids in the world with views of some of the most beautiful mountains in the Himalaya. Offering two days of intense, challenging and continuous crystal clear whitewater rapids, it is no surprise that this is one of our most popular trips. This river demands 100% commitment from both crew & guide – it is not for the faint hearted!

Starting point: Bhule Bhule

Day 16, Nov 19th Have breakfast early morning and get ready for day off excitement with lovely paddling grade 4-5 some off them will be portage as depend on people’s abilities to run or not other wise there will be raft people can jump on if they don’t want to kayak and camp around Tarkughat.

Day 17, Nov 20th   wake up early morning and pack up everything on the bus and get ready for another day off adventure with lovey rapids and scenery as we get to Finish at Turture have our lunch and load everything’s in to the bus drive back to Pokhara is 2 and half hours or back to Kathmandu will 5 hours go to hotel have a hot shower and relax. Enjoy some last minute shopping for gifts and get ready for the celebration dinner with the group. People who is going to Pokhara one night in hotel is included and people who is going Kathmandu one night hotel is included on the price

 Day 18, Nov 21 Fly back home.
