Matt is now a student in Wales, studying Film and Media. For 20 years, one of Matt’s many passions is to document his trips using film, photos and articles. It is good for coaching purposes and always nice to leave your trip with personal portfolio and a movie. Here is a link to our Karnarli trip that Matt produced in 2012.
Georgia Bhandari discovered kayaking on the Yarra River in Melbourne on an Outdoor Education trip at school. Georgia has competed in freestyle kayaking since 1999 and was the Australian Champion for four years. She was on Team Dagger for a few years and then became Team Bliss-stick. She has represented Australia and competed in the World Freestyle Championships in New Zealand, Spain, Austria and Australia as well as extreme races in New Zealand, Italy and Tasmania.
She has completed first descents in Nepal and Tibet and has also been a member of the women’s rafting team that won the Australian National Championships. She has worked in many countries around the world on some amazing rivers. She is now living in Eltham, Melbourne and works 3 days a week teaching Health and Physical Education at a Steiner influenced Primary School.
We are running 4 different rivers within 15 days and they are the best beginner, intermediate river trips in Nepal. These river corridors are the ideal place to learn about kayaking and rafting and improve your skills. This expedition is designed for beginner to intermediate and advance kayakers and rafters and there will be day to day teaching. Participating in this trip will be helping rebuild the community and create jobs for Nepal’s tourism.
