Seti River ( grade 3 )
The Seti River rises on the south east slopes of Machapuchare Mountain and then flows south. There are many different sections to paddle. The Upper Seti is just above Pokahara which is a fun and continuous half day trip for rafting or kayaking. Further downstream below the hydroelectric dam and after the river descends underground below Pokhara there is a really pleasant, scenic two to three day trip. The water is warm and the rapids fun and relatively straight forward. It is the ideal ‘ family trip’ or location for learning to kayak. This river is so beautiful with big sandy beaches for camping and you will pass through the stunning jungle corridor.
